Graph ( $GRT ) Jumps 25%: What Beginners Should Know ❓

GRT, the token behind The Graph, climbed about 25% this week, and trading activity exploded along with it. Spot volume rose more than 500% to roughly $117 million.

Why the excitement? The Graph Foundation plans to move its query traffic onto The Graph Network. Think of queries as data requests from apps. Indexers, the network's data providers, can handle them and earn fees paid in GRT. The switch begins October 8 with BNB Smart Chain and Polygon, and other networks will follow later.

The risks,Traders are using lots of borrowed money (leverage), so a sudden drop could force them to sell quickly and push prices down further. Sellers also still lead futures trading, and more GRT is sitting on exchanges, which often means holders may be preparing to sell.

What could happen next, GRT hit about $0.036 before pulling back to around $0.0325. Its RSI, a "heat gauge," showed the price was overheated and is now cooling. A dip toward $0.027-$0.028 could be a healthy reset. If buyers defend that zone, GRT may retest $0.036 again, especially if migration boosts real usage. If $0.027 breaks, the price could slide toward $0.017.

Bottom line:
The story is promising, but the outcome depends on whether real query activity keeps growing after October 8. This is not financial advice.
