$BTC $388M STOLEN... AND THORCHAIN WON'T BLOCK THE HACKER. This is getting messy. Bitget says roughly $387.5M was stolen in the Sept. 24 breach and asked THORChain to block addresses linked to the attacker. THORChain's answer? No selective blacklist. Its position is that the network can halt broader activity during a security emergency, but it cannot freeze one specific wallet or transaction. And while the debate continues... ~$6.3M of the stolen ETH was reportedly swapped through THORChain into BTC.
