I was one of the late buyers during the rally — and honestly, the market humbled me.
One lesson I keep coming back to:
Even in a strong bull market, taking more risk or moving faster doesn’t automatically lead to better results.
Swing trading can look easy when momentum is strong. But one poorly timed entry can still tie up capital or create a short-term loss, even when the longer-term thesis remains valid.
That’s something I’m learning to respect more.
A trade can be right on the long-term idea and still be poorly timed in the short term.
For me, the important part isn’t avoiding every losing trade. It’s learning from them, protecting capital, and improving the next decision.
Thankfully, this is the first trade in months that has really made me question my entry.
What has the market taught you recently?
