A 25-year-old Irvine man was arrested after allegedly spray-painting 13 Teslas over two weeks in the same parking garage. Police identified Max Sebastian Solomon through a takeout order he was carrying during one of the incidents.
Surveillance footage captured the suspect vandalizing vehicles on July 17, then returning July 24 to hit more cars. Investigators also linked him to a separate incident where he allegedly spit on a Tesla at an intersection.
Solomon faces felony vandalism charges and was booked into Orange County Jail. Police used the food delivery receipt to track him down after releasing garage surveillance footage to the public.
