Bitget hacker cleared out Avalanche between 21:19Z and 22:39Z, and overpaid to do it. Bitget's wallets there had paid out 821,012 AVAX at 19:16Z and 8.2M USDC at 20:55Z. The USDC went into AVAX at $11.08 a coin while Binance showed 10.48. Then 1.56M AVAX was sold back to USDC at $9.81 on average, 2.4x Binance's whole AVAX/USDT volume that hour, and bridged to Ethereum, mostly through Circle's own bridge. The round trip cost about $1.3M against Binance prices. It all ended up as 5,651 ETH, already inside the 66,213 ETH pile we counted at 22:48Z.
