Cardano just entered the AI-agent payments race.
The official x402 software kit now includes Cardano tools, allowing developers to build apps and AI agents capable of paying with $ADA
and Cardano-issued tokens.
There is one important catch: the facilitator has completed a transaction on pre-production, but this is not yet proof of commercial payments operating at scale on mainnet.
Still, machine payments are becoming a real crypto narrative. TON has Telegram bots for distribution; STONfi gives its own agent-driven apps somewhere to execute asset conversions.
