$TAKE

If you’ve been listening to me, you’ve either made a profit or taken a loss.

Both are part of the market. Opportunities will always arise, but recovering from major losses is a completely different matter. Once your capital is wiped out, there may be no opportunity to come back.

That’s why I keep emphasizing the importance of using a stop-loss and managing risk.

For example, if you lose 50% of your capital, you need a 100% gain just to get back to where you started.

If you lose 90%, you would need a 900% gain to recover—not 1,000%.

The lesson is simple: protect your capital first. Opportunities come and go, but capital preservation keeps you in the game.

Trade carefully. Manage your risk.
