Xaman’s rapid user growth is reportedly putting added pressure on parts of the $XRP Ledger infrastructure. The self-custodial wallet now has around 735,000 active users, representing roughly 45.8% growth from the previous period. Since each new Xaman account requires onchain activation and a 1 $XRP base reserve, the rising account count is increasing the load on some XRPL nodes, with certain nodes reportedly approaching capacity.
