Solana has begun rolling out Alpenglow on testnet with a finality target of about 150 milliseconds. The upgrade replaces the current consensus layer without changing Solana's virtual machine, transactions, programs, or fees. SOL traded around $117 after reaching almost $120 this week, its strongest level since late January.
