š„ SingularityNET Exploit Triggers Unauthorized Token Minting
A vulnerability in a SingularityNET bridge contract was exploited, allowing an attacker to mint 260 million AGIX and 53.838 million WMTx tokens on Ethereum without authorization.
The incident is estimated to have caused around $2.01 million in losses, with much of the impact tied to FET taken from Fetch.aiās token-converter system. It highlights the ongoing smart-contract and bridge-security risks facing cross-chain infrastructure.
AGIX is not currently available as an AGIX/USDT spot pair on Binance, so I canāt generate a Binance price graph for it.
