The Tunica-Biloxi Tribe has launched the first prediction market app operated by a Native American tribe through its new subsidiary, SaltTrade Derivatives, in partnership with Kalshi. According to Foresight News, the app is built on Kalshi's infrastructure and lets users trade event contracts tied to the outcomes of future events.

The CFTC previously issued the tribe a conditional no-action letter, providing a regulatory framework for its participation in the event contracts market. Kalshi CEO Tarek Mansour said the partnership shows regulated national infrastructure and tribal entrepreneurship can develop together.
