According to CNBC, Illumina shares reached an intraday 52-week high of $236 on Wednesday and are set to move from the S&P MidCap 400 into the S&P 500 on Monday's open. The genomics sequencing company reported 2025 revenue of $4.34 billion, essentially flat from $4.33 billion in 2024, and said its full-year guide implies about 6.5% growth. In the second quarter, revenue rose 9.5% to $1.16 billion, non-GAAP earnings per share were $1.31, and sequencing instruments sales increased 31% to $125 million. Illumina also raised its full-year revenue outlook by $50 million at the midpoint to $4.60 billion to $4.64 billion and lifted its rest-of-world organic growth forecast to more than 5% from 2% to 4%.
