Hetal Dalal, COO and president of Institutional Investor Advisory Services, said Tata Sons is expected to "put up a fight" against the Reserve Bank of India's efforts to require a listing, according to Bloomberg.

Dalal said an initial public offering could constrain the group's operating flexibility.
