Bitcoin vs Ethereum: What’s the Difference?

If you’re new to crypto, Bitcoin and Ethereum can look very similar—but they have different purposes.
$BTC
🔹 Bitcoin ($BTC )
Bitcoin was designed as a decentralized digital currency and is often viewed as a store-of-value asset. Its maximum supply is limited to 21 million BTC.
$ETH
🔹 Ethereum ($ETH )
Ethereum is a programmable blockchain designed to support smart contracts and decentralized applications (dApps). ETH is the native asset used within the Ethereum network.

📌 In simple terms:

Bitcoin → Digital money / store-of-value narrative
Ethereum → Programmable blockchain / decentralized applications

Both are important parts of the crypto ecosystem, but they solve different problems.
