š„ Solana is up around 15% this week, but thereās something else going on that may matter more than the rally. Validators are voting from August 22 on SGP-0003, which includes two proposals that would change how SOL fees, burns and inflation work. The goal is pretty simple: burn more $SOL based on actual network usage and reach the 1.5% terminal inflation target by 2029 instead of 2032. But itās already getting some pushback. Solana Company said it will vote against both proposals, mainly because of the timing around institutional adoption. Even the author of SIMD-0553 later clarified that the widely shared ā14x burnā figure was too simplistic. There was also the August 12 routing issue, when 28.76% of staked SOL briefly became delinquent. So while the chart looks strong, thereās a lot more happening underneath. The rally is one thing. The tokenomics debate is what Iām watching. #Solana or Ethereum?# #BTC Price Analysis# #Macro Insights# #Altcoin Season#
