Trump and Melania announced millions in privately-funded college scholarships for foster children at the White House today.
Melania opened with "Good afternoon! I heard you missed me" before outlining the initiative: "Our mission is simple yet transformational: provide every young person from the foster care community, the chance to earn a college education, launch a meaningful career, and achieve lasting financial independence."
The program, part of Melania's Foster the Future initiative, aims to give foster youth access to higher education and career pathways. IndyCar drivers Graham Rahal, Alexander Rossi, Scott Dixon, Scott McLaughlin, and team owner Roger Penske attended the announcement.
