#termmax Day 3 of #TermMax - The Liquidity Dilemma 💧
Yesterday we had Composability in the form of FT, XT, and GT. And today's important question is, what do you get when you decide to trade fixed maturity tokens?
At first, @TermMax used the order book mechanism. While that provided precise pricing mechanisms, during slower markets finding a counterparty can take time as orders linger in the order book.
By shifting towards AMMs and custom pricing curve liquidity, it becomes a totally different story:
Order Books: Concentrates on precision (may be slower).
AMMs: Concentrates on availability (immediate trades).
You could be sacrificing some price efficiency for liquidity that DeFi is craving.
Is it possible for tradable fixed-rate assets to be the next big building blocks in advanced DeFi strategy?
Which one is more important for you in fixed-rate DeFi: Precise Pricing or Immediate Liquidity? 👇
