TermMax: A Different Way to Read the Mechanism
I initially assumed TermMax was simply separating a position into components with different payoff profiles. The docs describe FT, XT, and GT as the core components, with range-order pricing curves used for pricing, and FT remaining tradable before maturity.
That made me look at it differently.
Another detail sharpens the tension: with a fixed maturity, time-to-maturity becomes part of how the position is priced, while FT can still be traded before maturity.
What I’m genuinely uncertain about is how these mechanics will behave across different market conditions and how closely real-world trading behavior follows the pricing structure defined by the protocol.
