Binance founder Changpeng Zhao (CZ) has renewed the debate around Bitcoin’s limited supply. More than 20.07 million $BTC have already been mined, leaving only around 4.4% of Bitcoin’s maximum 21 million supply yet to be created. CZ also noted that an estimated 10%–20% of existing Bitcoin could be permanently lost or inaccessible.
This makes the available supply much tighter than the headline numbers suggest. If demand continues to rise while supply remains limited, owning one full $BTC could become increasingly difficult—even for millionaires.
Could Bitcoin’s scarcity become its biggest long-term advantage?
