I initially thought Dusk’s privacy story was mainly about keeping transaction details hidden.

But the more interesting part is what happens underneath that privacy.

With Dusk’s XSC framework, regulated assets can keep sensitive transaction data confidential while compliance requirements remain part of the process. KYC/AML controls and eligibility checks don’t simply disappear because the transaction is private.

That creates an interesting balance:

Privacy for the market participants.
Compliance for the institutions.
Auditability when it matters.

And that may be the bigger value proposition.

For security tokens and regulated financial assets, privacy alone isn’t enough. The real challenge is creating infrastructure where institutions can transact confidentially without giving up the controls regulators require.

That’s the part of Dusk I’m paying more attention to.

Maybe the bigger question isn’t “How private is the blockchain?”

It’s “Can privacy and compliance actually work together at scale?”
