new course, and day one gives me my tension immediatly ๐Ÿ˜‚

every chain claims a market. dusks chosen market is the single hardest customer segment in finance.... regulated european institutions. mtfs, licensed exchanges, funds under mica and mifid. the customers with compliance departments, procurement processes, and lawyers who bill by the hour.

think about what that choice costs. retail defi adopts in weeks, ape in, tvl up, token pumps. institutions adopt in YEARS. pilots, sandboxes, board approvals, regulatory sign-off. dusk deliberately picked the slow lane, and the chart shows what slow lanes cost.... dusk has been building since 2018, and the token has lived through multiple cycles of the market asking "wheres the adoption" while lawyers reviewed documents somewhere in amsterdam.

but heres the other side of the trade, and its why im here for fifteen days. slow customers are STICKY customers. a retail degen leaves for the next farm in a week. an afm-regulated exchange that spent two years integrating your infrastructure, migrating 300 million euros of assets.... they dont leave. ever. the moat isnt tech, its the accumulated regulatory and integration cost that any competitor would have to repeat.

so the bet is legible. dusk traded a decade of hype cycles for a customer base that, once landed, cant churn. the npex partnership is the first real test of wether the landing actually happens.

my two clocks are back, protocol patient, token impatient. this time theres a third clock too.... the regulators. fifteen days to read all three.
