Summertime sadness.

I was sitting in the heat, scrolling bStocks on my phone, and for a second I thought I spotted a tiny pricing edge.

Then I stopped myself.

With bStocks, a “small gap” is not always a real signal until you check what exactly you are comparing.

The underlying share is quoted in USD.
The bStock on Binance is traded in USDT.

That sounds almost identical, and most of the time it feels identical, but when the gap you are looking at is very small, “almost” is not the same as “exactly.” Add different trading hours, a separate order book, and changing liquidity, and a tiny mismatch can look more meaningful than it really is.

So my quick rule in summer-scroll mode is simple:

1. Check the units first.
2. Check whether the comparison is being made at the same moment.
3. Only then decide whether the gap is actually interesting.

For me, this is one of those small bStocks details that matters more than it seems. Sometimes the market is not giving you an edge — sometimes it is just showing you two prices from two slightly different contexts.

Tiny price gap? Not so fast.
Always check the units.
