That's not a payments annoyance. That's the business model telling you who owns the rail.
If your income only works when you hand over your legal name, address, phone number, website, or whatever else a processor demands, you do not control your revenue. You are renting access to it.
Creators keep getting pushed into the same bad trade:
Exposure in exchange for discoverability
Compliance in exchange for payouts
Identity in exchange for safety
Especially in adult work, that trade is absurd. The person creating the value is forced to take the personal risk just to receive money.
I don't think the answer is better workarounds forever. I think the answer is building rails where creators can get paid without surrendering custody of their identity.
Until that exists at scale, a lot of creator businesses are just permission systems with branding.
