ADP July Private Payrolls: Soft Print Misses Forecast.
According to CNBC, private-sector hiring slowed sharply in July. $ADP.US reported nonfarm payrolls (ex-government) rose by a seasonally adjusted +44,000, well below June’s downwardly revised +95,000 and the Dow Jones consensus of +75,000.

ADP chief economist Nela Richardson noted that job changers remain highly sensitive to real-time conditions, with faster pay growth still pointing to supply constraints in parts of the labour market. Typical hiring patterns are also shifting as employers adjust to the evolving macro backdrop.
