Solana: Up or Down?

We may be witnessing a historic moment.
For the first time ever, SOL has closed its 10th consecutive monthly red candle.
This isn't just another red month—it reflects a long-term downtrend that the higher timeframes continue to confirm.

Technically, the chart remains under pressure:
📉 Price: $73.09 🔸 EMA(7): $85.68 → Price remains below the short-term trend. 🔸 EMA(25): $115.68 → The medium-term trend is still decisively bearish. 🔸 The gap between EMA 7 and EMA 25 remains wide, showing that momentum has not yet shifted back to the bulls.

The MACD also continues to favor the bears:
MACD remains below the zero line.
The histogram is still negative.
Although selling momentum appears to be slowing slightly, there is no confirmed bullish crossover yet.

Volume has also been fading, which suggests buyers are still waiting rather than stepping in aggressively.

My view: I believe there is still room for additional downside. A move below $50 would not surprise me, and that's where I think Solana could begin building a long-term bottom before the next major cycle.

Of course, no chart can predict the future with certainty. Technical analysis is about probabilities, not guarantees. But as things stand today, the higher-timeframe trend still belongs to the bears.

The question is simple:
Will Solana find its bottom below $50... or will buyers step in before then? 👇
