Centrifuge has formed a partnership with the Layer 1 blockchain Pharos to develop a shared infrastructure aimed at managing institutional real-world assets on-chain. The collaboration plans to facilitate tokenization and operation of assets like U.S. Treasurys and AAA-rated structured credit products at scale. Centrifuge's CEO emphasized the importance of building not just tokenization but also the distribution and infrastructure layers for practical on-chain institutional finance.
