The emergence of the @satoshi account, which has not posted any tweets on the X platform for 5 years, but which wrote about Bitcoin for the first time yesterday, has become a topic of discussion on crypto-Twitter. While many conspiracy theories have been put forward, the real identity of the account is unknown, but it is considered very unlikely to be Satoshi.

The fact that an account named @satoshi on X posted a Bitcoin tweet yesterday became one of the topics of the crypto agenda. While the probability that the account that tweeted for the first time since 2018 was Satoshi Nakamoto was considered very low, there was also a fear in this direction.

In the tweet sent from the account, it was written that there are also many features of #BTC that are not included in the white paper, and these will be further examined in the coming period. The appearance of the account years later also brought with it various conspiracy theories and speculation.

There is no known Twitter account

While the tweet received 1.5 million views, it is also noteworthy that the account was not verified by X, that is, it received a “blue tick”. However, as it is known, X management makes almost every account that wants to be verified for money. Therefore, the fact that the account has a blue tick does not matter in this sense. Also, Satoshi Nakamoto does not have a known Twitter account.

Nakamoto last sent an email to Gavin Andersen, one of the Bitcoin developers, in 2011 and stated that he would focus on issues other than Bitcoin and entrusted the project to Andersen. There was no sound from Nakamoto after that.
