Discover xtzchad.xyz, an invaluable resource for Tezos enthusiasts, offering tools for staking, wallet tracking, and blockchain snapshots. Enhance your Tezos journey with this community-driven website’s practical and entertaining features.

In the bustling world of cryptocurrency, some of the most helpful resources often go unnoticed. One such hidden gem for Tezos enthusiasts is xtzchad.xyz. This low-key website houses a variety of tools that can make navigating the Tezos ecosystem much simpler and more fun!

From staking services to insightful market analysis, xtzchad.xyz quietly offers practical solutions without much fanfare. In this article, we will uncover the features of xtzchad.xyz, exploring each tool and how it can benefit you in your Tezos journey. If you’re looking for handy, reliable tools, this site might just be what you need to know about.

What is xtzchad.xyz?

xtzchad.xyz is a website hosting a collection of open-source Tezos tools, created by a long-standing community member known as DoctorChad. The first tool in the collection appeared in May 2024 and was a basic Tezos snapshot tool. Since then, the collection has grown to include various tools for different use cases, such as staking, wallet tracking, and analysis.

This project is entirely community-driven, and users are encouraged to post their suggestions on the project’s GitHub. If you do, there’s a good chance you will see your suggestions implemented quickly. Now, let’s take a closer look at these tools in more detail.

ChadStake

The first tool on our list is the staking assistant “ChadStake.” As highlighted in my article, “Stake and (L)earn: A Beginner’s Guide to the New Tezos Staker Role,” the initial step in staking your tez is to find a baker accepting external staking. Currently, ChadStake is the best resource for this. It provides a comprehensive list of bakers, displays their available free space, allows fee comparisons, and even lets you connect your wallet to stake with the baker that best fits your needs — all in one convenient place.

The Eye of Chad

Next, we have “The Eye of Chad.” This tool allows you to track inflows and outflows for any wallet and can help you track connected addresses. When used in combination with a block explorer like tzkt.io, it greatly enhances your on-chain analysis.

Simply paste the address you want to check, select the number of transactions you want the tool to track, and specify the minimum amount of tez per transaction to consider. Then, hit enter or click the Eye (of Chad) button. Green lines indicate incoming tez, while red lines show outgoing tez. By hovering your mouse over any line, you can see the total amount of the inflow or outflow. Clicking on a line will open the connected address, allowing you to view its own connections.

ChadShots

ChadShots is a convenient tool for anyone looking to set up Tezos nodes, to find updated snapshots of the Tezos blockchain. The snapshots available are:

  • an updated rolling snapshot with the current state of the blockchain

  • a snapshot of the state of the chain before the ParisB activation for bakers that might need an older state of the chain.

As previously mentioned, this tool was the first offering on the xtzchad.xyz website and was the catalyst for DoctorChad to develop the entire suite of “Chad” tools.

TezMoon

Next up is TezMoon. By default, this tool displays important metrics about the Tezos ecosystem, such as the current staking ratio (locked tez), current and projected issuance, the total number of accounts, burned supply, and more.

But that’s not all — metrics around the staking ratio and issuance are interactive, allowing you to use them as a simulator for adaptive issuance scenarios. To do this, simply click and move the dots on the locked tez chart to create your own scenarios for the staked supply and observe the effect on the future issuance of tez.

Fun Tools

Now for the more “fun” part of the website, we have two additional tools that users can share and enjoy.

TezCalm

  • TezCalm is a page where you can watch the total amount of staked tez increase live while listening to relaxing music against various cool backgrounds. This page truly gives a new meaning to the phrase ‘Stack, Stake, and Chill!’

ChadMap

  • Last but not least, ChadMap is a visualization of all the Tezos accounts staking 1000+ tez, or as the creator calls it, the “Chad Club”! Moving bubbles (accounts) around and trying to find your wallet in that dynamic display can be challenging but also a fun experience.

In conclusion, xtzchad.xyz is a treasure trove of community-driven, practical and entertaining tools for Tezos enthusiasts. From staking assistance with ChadStake to blockchain snapshots with ChadShots, and even fun tools like TezCalm and ChadMap, there’s something for everyone.

Head over to xtzchad.xyz, dive into the features, and start playing around to see how they can take your Tezos journey to the next level. Go ahead, be a Chad, and conquer the Tezos world!
