The Sindh Education Department has issued a notification announcing revised timings for public and private educational institutions across the province. Primary schools operating in a single shift will function from 8:00am to 12:30pm, while double shifts will run from 7:30am to 11:30am and 11:45am to 2:45pm. Friday timings have also been adjusted accordingly.

For secondary, higher secondary, and elementary schools, single shift timings will be from 7:30am to 11:30am, with double shifts following the same morning schedule and an afternoon session from 11:45am to 2:45pm.

Meanwhile, Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Chairman Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabeer Azad expressed hope that the first fast of Ramadan will be observed across Pakistan on the same day this year. A Suparco spokesperson also indicated a strong possibility of Ramadan beginning on Thursday.
