首先，CKB 是少数真正做到 Layer 1 与 Layer 2 职责彻底分离的公链。
L1（CKB）只负责最底层的安全、共识和状态存储，不参与性能竞赛；所有性能、应用逻辑和用户体验，全部交给 L2 去扩展。这不是短期优化，而是一种长期主义架构设计。
很多公链的路线是：先追 TPS → 出问题 → 再打补丁；
而 CKB 是从第一天起，就假设系统会被使用 10 年、20 年之后该怎么办。
其次，CKB 的 Cell Model 是对 UTXO 的真正升级，而不是账户模型的微调。
相比以太坊的账户模型，Cell Model 天然支持多资产、状态可组合，以及更强、更通用的脚本能力。状态不再被强行绑定在账户之下，而是成为独立、可验证、可组合的资源单元。
是很多开发者在真正理解后才意识到的一点：
原来区块链的状态，并不一定要“账户中心化”。
被严重低估的一点是：CKB 把“状态”当成一种有成本的资源。
在以太坊里，状态一旦写入就会永久存在，只会不断膨胀；而在 CKB 里，谁占用状态，谁就要为状态付费，不用就释放。CKB 本质上把自己定位为“状态的硬盘”，而不是“状态的垃圾桶”。这是目前极少数真正从工程层面解决区块链“状态爆炸问题”的设计。
