You can now deposit GBP to Binance via Faster Payment Service (FPS). Please follow the instructions carefully in order to successfully deposit GBP into your Binance account.
Important Note: Do not make any transfers below 2 GBP. After deducting the relevant fees, any transfers below 2 GBP will not be credited or returned.
There are two parts to this tutorial:
Part 1 will show you how to collect the necessary bank information for the transfer.
Part 2 will show you how to initiate the transfer instruction with a UK online banking platform, using information obtained from Part 1.
Part 1: Initiate a Deposit
1. Log in to your Binance account and go to [Wallet] - [Fiat and Spot].
Click [Deposit].
2. Select ‘GBP’ under ‘Currency’, then select ‘Bank Transfer (Faster Payments)’ as the payment method. Click [Continue].
3. Accept the terms & conditions to activate your Fiat services.
4. Enter the GBP amount you would like to deposit and click [Continue].
Please note that you can only deposit funds from a bank account with the exact same name as your registered Binance account. If the transfer is made from a joint account or a bank account with a different name, the bank transfer will not be accepted. Please transfer GBP from your UK bank account only.
5. You will then be presented with the bank details to deposit funds. Please keep this tab open for reference and proceed to Part 2.

Please note that the Reference Code presented will be unique to your own Binance account. DO NOT copy any information from this screenshot.
Part 2: Make a Transfer from an Online Banking Platform
Please note that the screenshot below is just for demonstration purposes, your online banking platform may have different steps and interfaces.
1. Log into your online banking platform and go to the [Make a Payment] function.
2. Under “Choose an account to pay”, select [Pay someone new].
3. Select the payee type as [Business] and then input the Bank details obtained previously in [Part 1-Step 5]. Then follow the instructions of your online banking to authorize and confirm adding this new account.
- Name
- Sort code
- Account number
4. Enter the same GBP amount as you entered in [Part 1-Step 2], then enter the Reference Code obtained from [Part 1-Step 3].
Please note that all information entered must be exactly the same as that indicated in [Part 1-Step 3]. If the information is incorrect, the bank transfer will not be accepted.
This includes:
- Name
- Sort code
- Account number
- Reference code
- Amount to transfer
5. Review the transaction details. If all the information is correct, authorize and proceed with the transaction.
6. The transaction is now complete. You should see the Payment Receipt to confirm the transaction.
Please note that after completing the transaction from your bank, it may take up to a few hours for the funds to show up in your Binance account. Please contact customer support if you need further assistance.
