Bitcoin's Modest Bounce

$BTC traded at $78,540, up 1.92% over the past 24 hours while still down 3.45% on the weekly chart. The coin stayed inside a tight range of $75,736 to $78,705, and the $1.15B volume showed enough hands were still willing to move the needle. I'm not seeing a breakout, just a brief pause that could give the bulls a chance to regroup.

Ethereum Keeps the Pace

$ETH posted a price of $2,328 with a 2.47% rise in the last day, even as the seven-day trend slipped 1.36%. Its 24 hour range of $2,226 to $2,334 and $465M of volume suggest the market is still testing the next support level. For me the key is whether that modest gain can hold against the lingering bearish sentiment.

Altcoins Show Mixed Signals

The big-cap altcoins were less enthusiastic. $BNB lingered at $702.65, edging up 0.68% but down 7.53% over the week, trading between $680.74 and $705.70 on $100M of volume. SOL managed $93.45, a 1.07% rise, yet its weekly drop of 8.79% kept it near the lower end of its $89.86-$93.93 band with $172M moving through the market. Those numbers feel like a reminder that the rally in the majors is still fragile.

Fear & Greed Tells a Story

The Fear & Greed Index read 34 today, a clear tilt toward fear, after yesterday's 26 and a week-ago 51. The swing back into fear territory suggests traders are more wary of a sudden correction than they were a few days ago. It's easy to overlook that sentiment shift when a few tokens are soaring, but the index often foreshadows a broader pullback.
