The New York Stock Exchange has announced four new partners for its upcoming tokenized securities platform: Broadridge Financial Solutions, Computershare, Equiniti, and Superstate. They join existing partners Securitize and tZERO.
This is a significant milestone for market infrastructure. Together, Broadridge, Computershare, and Equiniti serve nearly 5,000 listed companies—representing roughly 99% of the S&P 500. As traditional gatekeepers of shareholder records and ownership transfers, their integration into blockchain infrastructure could seamlessly bridge legacy equity markets with digital assets.
Subject to regulatory approval, the proposed platform aims to introduce:
24/7 Trading: Continuous market access, including weekends.
Instant Settlement: Elimination of traditional multi-day clearing cycles.
Fractional Investing: Ability to execute dollar-sized equity orders.
On-Chain Funding: Seamless transactions powered by stablecoins.
Streamlined Operations: Blockchain-native post-trade processing.
If greenlit by regulators, this initiative marks a pivotal shift toward bringing blockchain-based ownership into the core of mainstream global finance
