November 1, 2026 | Crypto Market Update
After a major security incident shook confidence in one of the world's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, Binance has delivered a critical milestone: withdrawals are back across 15 blockchain networks.
But while access is returning, one major question remains: Is restoring withdrawals enough to rebuild investor confidence?
đĄ Binance Delivers on Its November 1 Promise
Binance officially resumed its first phase of cryptocurrency withdrawals on November 1, meeting its previously announced Sunday recovery target.
The reopening includes major cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), BNB, XRP, Solana (SOL), and popular stablecoins USDT and USDC.
The latest additions to the withdrawal recovery include:
â
Zcash: ZEC withdrawals
â
TON: USDT and GRAM withdrawals
â
Sui: SUI withdrawals
These additions complete the first phase of restoration across 15 networks, bringing essential withdrawal functionality back to millions of cryptocurrency users.
However, Binance emphasized that other supported assets and networks will return gradually as additional security checks are completed.
đ $4.65 Billion Withdrawn After Services Reopened
Beyond the restoration itself, the movement of funds reveals another significant development.
According to Binance's November 1 update, the exchange processed approximately:
$4.65 billion in withdrawals
$1.01 billion in deposits
$3.64 billion in net outflows
These transactions occurred during the first nine and a half hours following the resumption of withdrawals.
The net outflow represented approximately 2.1% of Binance's reported $171 billion in assets, based on its October 28 Proof of Reserves data.
Although the figures are substantial, Binance reported that withdrawal volumes declined and began stabilizing after the initial surge.
The numbers highlight significant user demand to move funds, but they do not, on their own, establish a liquidity crisis.
đ Security Remains the Biggest Test
Restoring withdrawals represents an important operational achievement. Yet the bigger challenge goes beyond reopening blockchain networks.
Binance says it has replenished approximately 95% of the affected assets and committed to absorbing the financial impact of the stolen funds rather than passing the losses to users.
The exchange also reported that balances in major assets, including BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP and ZEC, are fully backed by reserves.
An updated Proof of Reserves report is expected on November 2.
For investors, independently examining reserve disclosures and monitoring the reliability of withdrawals will be more meaningful than relying on recovery announcements alone.
đ What Does This Mean for Bitcoin and the Broader Crypto Market?
The reopening removes one immediate operational restriction for users of the exchange.
But restoring access should not automatically be interpreted as a bullish signal for BTC, ETH or BNB.
The next developments worth monitoring include withdrawal processing reliability, additional network restorations, updated reserve disclosures and the findings of Binance's promised post-incident investigation.
These factors may help determine whether user confidence stabilizes or concerns persist.
The real measure of recovery is not simply how quickly withdrawals reopen. It is whether users can continue accessing their funds reliably and securely.
đŹ The Question Every Crypto Investor Should Consider
Binance has reached an important milestone, but rebuilding confidence takes more than one successful recovery announcement.
The coming updates will be critical.
If you had funds on Binance today, what would your next move be?
đą A: Keep holding on Binance
đŽ B: Transfer to a self-custody wallet
đĄ C: Wait for the updated Proof of Reserves report
