South Korea's Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) requested domestic access blocks for two undeclared virtual asset operators, TetherMax and SuperTrust, on October 30. The Digital Asset Exchange Alliance (DAXA) referred both operators and Aegis Ventures for investigation that day over suspected legal violations and undeclared operations. Aegis Ventures was excluded from the blocking request because Aegis Ventures has neither a standalone website nor a mobile application. Undeclared virtual asset business operators can face imprisonment for up to 5 years or a 50 million Korean won fine.
