When you visit the "Share Trades" section of the Binance Leaderboard, you will notice large PNL cards. Some show +230%, others +240%. It might make trading look like a very easy task. But what can we actually learn from these cards?
1. You must look at the entire setup
Entry Price, Avg. Close Price, leverage (such as 10X), and Long/Short.
Combining all of these reveals which way the trader was betting.
Looking only at the profit figures means missing the real story.
2. High leverage means high risk
Just as profits increase with 10X leverage, losses increase equally.
If the market moves against you, liquidation can occur.
We only see the winning trades; nobody shares their losing trades.
3. An exit plan is essential
Observing where the price went after closing a position serves as a reminder.
The exit plan is just as critical as the entry setup.
4. Do not follow blindly
Check a trader's long-term record before copying their trades.
Profit from a single trade is not proof of long-term consistency.
5. Manage your own risk
Trade using only a small portion of your total capital.
Always use a stop-loss.
Never risk more than you can afford to lose.
Conclusion
The Leaderboard is a place for learning, not a guarantee of profit. Gather insights from others' trades, but make decisions based on your own research and risk tolerance.
