$BTC Tests $80K Right After the Fed 🏦

The Fed held rates at 3.75-4% as expected, but two members voted for a hike. Bitcoin spiked to about $81.6K, then faded. It’s now trading at $80,000 on Binance spot (-1.16%), right on the key support line.

Relative strength vs BTC right now:
🟢 $BNB +2.12%
🟢 $TRX +0.98%
🔴 $ETH -0.58%
🔴 $SOL -0.86%
🔴 $DOT -0.97%
🔴 $DOGE -1.01%
🔴 $ADA -2.75%, the weakest

Only $BNB and $TRX are outperforming. Most majors are moving with BTC or lagging it.

What I’m watching:

December hike odds: Some outlets put the chance of a hike above 80%, while others call it largely priced in. Either way, the Fed’s tone stays the main driver.

Today’s data: Q3 GDP and PCE inflation. A hot print could add pressure.

October’s weak run: BTC is down about 4% this month, versus a typical October gain of 18% since 2020.

Tomorrow: About $11B in options expire, and US midterms follow on Nov 3.

Levels:
Support: $80K, then $79.7K (overnight low), then $78K
Resistance: $81.8K, then $82.5K

My take: The Fed removed one uncertainty but not the inflation worry. I want to see BTC hold $80K before getting more confident.

Do you expect BTC to reclaim $82K or retest $78K first? 👇
