đ MY TAKE
The fundamentals are genuinely strong â solid revenue growth, a big jump in net income, Azure accelerating, Copilot seats climbing. As a business, Microsoft looks very healthy.
But two things stand out:
1ïžâŁ The price already prices in a lot of news. good At P/E 29.12 and price-to-book 8.8, buyers are paying for near-flawless execution. A 45% operating margin is excellent â and it also means very little room for disappointment2ïžâŁ Cape.
x is the real question mark. Spending $50B+ this quarter with roughly $175B planned for the year is aggressive â and free cash flow already fell 23% last quarter on that spending. If Azure and AI revenue don't scale at the same pace, margin and cash-flow pressure follows.
đŻ My view: excellent company â but a valuation that leaves little margin for error. Analyst targets sit around $586â$662, modestly above the current price, and Oct 28 is the real test, especially Azure guidance and the capex trajectory.

â YOUR TAKE?
Is Microsoft's AI spending spree worth the price today â or is the capex load plus a rich valuation the bigger risk?
