The Bank of Israel has rejected a proposal by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to use cryptocurrency to circumvent sanctions, stating that crypto cannot be utilized as a route for bypassing sanctions.

In response to the central bank's stance, Netanyahu stated that while he listens to advice, he does what he believes is best.
