$SOXSB is up 20% today — and it WANTS chips to die.

This is the tokenized Direxion Semiconductor Bear 3X ETF: it pays out when chip stocks bleed. And today the whole sector is bleeding.

Texas Instruments beat AND raised — got sold anyway. Lam Research beat — guided weak on supply-chain constraints — down 10%. SOXX -5.9%, SOXL -17.6%, AMD -7.4%, NVDA -3.9%, AVGO -4.6%, MU -4.4%. Even Meta's earnings beat triggered an AI-trade selloff. Mizuho's trading desk nailed it: "beats get sold, inline guides get crushed."

The tape on the token: $43.6 yesterday to $53.41 today, +20.5% on real volume — biggest 1h bar $396k on the 15:00 UTC breakout candle. RSI 75 (extended), sitting above EMA20 $49.34 / EMA50 $47.61.

Now the honest part, because this one is a trap for the careless:
1. It's a 3x DAILY leveraged inverse. It decays by construction — the equity is down ~91% year-to-date. Timing is everything; buy-and-hold rots.
2. The wrapper is tiny: 43k tokens circulating, $2.28M market cap vs the $3.35B equity product. Premium/discount swings can be violent.

Lines: $53.41 is the ceiling (then $60.11 ATH); $48.82 is the shakeout low — lose it and the breakout unwinds; $43.6 = full round-trip.

Chips keep bleeding, or the dip-buyers show up tomorrow. Which side of the chip war are you on?
