Day 4 of My Crypto Learning: 5 Crypto Scams Beginners Should Know 🚹

Before learning how to buy crypto, I think we should learn how people get tricked. Here’s what I found 👇

1ïžâƒŁ “Guaranteed returns”
“Put in $100, get $500 this week.” No investment is risk-free. A guarantee is a red flag.
2ïžâƒŁ Fake giveaways
“Send 1 ETH and get 2 back,” often using a celebrity’s name. Real giveaways never ask you to send money first.
3ïžâƒŁ Fake support
Someone messages you pretending to be “support” and asks for your seed phrase. Real support never needs it.
4ïžâƒŁ Phishing links
Fake emails or websites that look real. Don’t click links. Type the official address yourself.
5ïžâƒŁ Romance or “online friend” investing
Someone you only know online keeps pushing you to invest. Be careful.

đŸš© Quick red flag check
‱ Promises of guaranteed profit
‱ “Hurry, it’s urgent!”
‱ You must pay first
‱ They ask for your seed phrase or private key
‱ They want payment in crypto or gift cards

✅ What I’ll do
‱ Search the name + “scam”, “review”, or “complaint” first
‱ Use official apps and websites only
‱ Slow down. If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is
This is learning, not financial advice.
