The real strength of a DeFi lending protocol is not measured by deposits alone. It is also reflected in how capital moves between suppliers, borrowers, and reward mechanisms.

The latest snapshot shared by JUST DAO puts JustLend DAO’s total value locked at $7.18 billion, with $3.96 billion in supplied assets and approximately $213.01 million borrowed.

These figures offer an interesting view of the protocol’s activity.

Supply creates the foundation for lending markets. Borrowing demonstrates how users access that liquidity for their own strategies and financial needs.

The relationship between these two sides matters. A lending protocol must attract capital while maintaining sufficient liquidity for users who want to withdraw their assets. Borrowing demand, interest rates, collateral requirements, and market conditions all influence how efficiently the system operates.

This is where protocol design becomes just as important as headline TVL.

The snapshot also reports 47,258 USDD in daily mining rewards.

Reward mechanisms can encourage participation by giving eligible suppliers an additional incentive beyond the interest generated by lending. However, the long-term value of these programs depends on more than the size of the distribution.

Sustainable participation requires users to understand the reward conditions, changing rates, liquidity availability, and risks associated with supplying or borrowing digital assets.

Rewards can attract attention. A reliable market structure is what deserves closer examination.
