London's High Court ruled that Chinese law governs fraud victims' ownership claims to 61,000 Bitcoin seized by British authorities. The ruling does not determine who ultimately owns the assets, and the victims' property rights remain to be assessed. The seized Bitcoin is currently worth more than $5 billion, according to CoinGecko. The Financial Times reported that Fieldfisher, which represents claimants, is pursuing an appeal. The case will remain before the High Court in London.
