The NFT Mania Is Over. $BLUR Is Shutting Down Its Website đŒ That was March 2023, when Blur passed OpenSea. Today it does under $7M a month, according to Token Terminal. On November 12 the site goes offline, while the protocol stays on-chain. $BLUR dropped more than 30% after the news, from $0.018 to around $0.0125. In early 2023 the same token traded above $5. I think most of that 2023 volume was people farming points for airdrops. Once the rewards dried up, there wasn't much trading left. Its founder's L2, Blast, is shutting down this month too.
