Prof. Jeffrey Sachs claims Iran faced "brutal aggression" from the U.S. and Israel, alleging Iranian leaders were attacked while preparing for Vienna negotiations.
Sachs says the timing was deliberate: "Get the other side to negotiate and then when they're together kill them. That is literally the policy."
He notes Iran continued offering talks despite the strike, calling Iranian negotiators "very dignified, very intelligent" representatives of a 2,500-year-old civilization.
"The United States and Israel think they're just targets for assassination," Sachs said.
Full interview airs Monday on Going Underground.
