💡 5 Metrics That Tell You More About a Coin Than Its Price Many of you follow popular coins like $BTC or ETH. Let me guess: most of the time, you’re looking at the price chart. It’s useful, but it’s only one part of the picture. There are several other metrics worth checking, and they apply to any coin, from the biggest names to smaller projects. So I took WhiteBIT Coin ($WBT) as an example and went through the metrics I’d look at first, and what they actually tell you. All figures below are taken from CoinMarketCap, CoinCodex and the official WhiteBIT page: 💰 Market Cap: $23.03B Price × circulating supply. This is how the market values the coin right now. It’s a better way to compare coins than price alone. 🔄 Circulating Supply: 117.88M WBT The number of coins actually in the market and available for trading. 📦 Total Supply: 293.36M WBT How many coins exist today, including those not yet in circulation. 🔒 Max Supply: 400M WBT The maximum number of coins that can ever exist. The gap between circulating and max supply shows how many coins could still enter the market over time. 🔺 All-Time High: $87.91 🔻 All-Time Low: $3.06 Together, these show the full range the coin has already traded in, from its lowest point to its peak. 📌 Each number on its own says little. Read together, they show the size of a coin, how much of its supply is already on the market and where it has traded before. That’s a much fuller picture than a single price line. Next time you open a coin page, give these metrics a minute before you look at the chart 👀 Disclaimer: This is not financial or investment advice. DYOR before making any decisions.
