Babylon Labs, a Bitcoin staking infrastructure company, and HashKey Cloud, an institutional blockchain infrastructure provider, are integrating Trustless Bitcoin Vaults (TBV). The service will let HashKey clients use native Bitcoin as collateral to borrow stablecoins and access yield strategies.

TBV allows users to borrow through Aave v4 without wrapping or bridging Bitcoin. The system is designed to connect native Bitcoin with Ethereum-based lending liquidity while avoiding centralized intermediaries.

Babylon said the integration is aimed at institutional users in Asia who want to use Bitcoin through regulated counterparties. Its self-custodial model allows institutions to keep ownership of their native Bitcoin while using it as collateral.
