Here's the wild part đ, The "Real Bitcoin" lost to Bitcoin:
â BCH NEVER reclaimed its 2017 high. BTC blew past $126,000+ and made ATH after ATH.
â In BTC terms, BCH has bled ~99%, relentless underperformance for 9 years
â Nov 2018: BCH forked AGAIN into Bitcoin SV, forks of forks
â Every cycle, BCH bounces on "flippening" hope, then fades vs BTC
â $4,355 â ~$230
Today: ~$290 (down ~93% from ATH, ~-99% vs BTC), still TOP-30 but a shadow of the "Bitcoin killer" dream.
Lesson for my CryptoPatel Family:
đ THE "REAL / BETTER BITCOIN" NARRATIVE IS A GRAVEYARD. BCH, BSV, BTG, Bitcoin Diamond, every fork that promised to out-Bitcoin Bitcoin underperformed it badly.
đ MEASURE ALTS AGAINST BTC, NOT JUST USD. BCH is "only" -93% in dollars but ~-99% vs Bitcoin. The BTC pair tells the truth.
đ NETWORK EFFECTS > "BETTER TECH." BCH had faster, cheaper blocks and still lost. The incumbent's liquidity, brand & security are a moat specs can't cross. (See $NEO .)
