A new institutional focused dollar stablecoin called Open USD has officially gone live across Ethereum, Solana, Base and Tempo.
The stablecoin is issued by Bridge, the stablecoin infrastructure company owned by Stripe, with support from major companies including Coinbase, Visa, Mastercard and Shopify.
Businesses can mint and redeem the token at a one to one rate against the U.S. dollar through supported infrastructure.
