Binance has started its biggest account restructuring! Starting September 29, 2026, all crypto assets in your Funding Account are being migrated to your Spot Account, and by January 2027, Funding Account will be officially renamed to *Stocks Account*. The new Stocks Account will only support 6 settlement assets - USD, USDC, USDT, USD1, U and BNB - for US stocks and stock options trading. On-chain deposits to Funding Account are now disabled, so you must use Spot Account for all crypto deposits. No action is needed as your total balance remains safe, but you can use the One-Click Migration button in the app. This move comes as Binance now offers 7000+ US stocks for trading from just $5.
